At Edeniq, we help you make cellulosic ethanol production a reality!
We are a leading biotechnology company that develops processes for producing and measuring cellulosic ethanol from corn kernel fiber through our Intellulose technology. This presents an innovative, profitable, and immediate opportunity for ethanol plants across the country!
Our lab and headquarters are in Visalia, California with a field office in Omaha, Nebraska. Omaha is a strategically chosen location that allows us to serve the greater concentration of ethanol plants in the Midwest.
What makes us so unique?
Our efficient solutions require zero capital investment and are easily integrated into existing ethanol production facilities across the United States, adding significant value to their business operations.
- Several of our customers have successfully registered with the EPA to produce qualified cellulosic ethanol from corn kernel fiber using our Intellulose technology. The pace of these approvals began increasing in the latter half of 2017.
- Additionally, we have customers selling low-CI ethanol into the state of California under CARB-approved pathways. The number of customers registering with California is expected to more than triple in 2019.
- Our EPA-and CARB-registered customers are expected to produce 5-10 million gallons of cellulosic ethanol this year.
- Our customers could contribute 30-80 million gallons of cellulosic ethanol to the U.S. transportation fuel supply in the next year if all the corn ethanol plants we are currently working with were registered with the EPA and CARB for cellulosic production in a timely manner.
Our prospects are the nearly 200 ethanol production facilities across the U.S. that use corn as their primary feedstock. Collectively, these facilities can produce nearly 16 billion gallons a year of ethanol at full capacity, or 10 percent of the nation’s fuel supply.
