Brian D. Thome – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Thome has deep experience as a senior level executive and leader in the biofuels industry. Most recently, Mr. Thome was the founder, president and CEO of TH Partners, assisting biofuels companies with operational planning and improvements. Mr. Thome was formerly president of U.S. BioEnergy Corp. (NASDAQ: USBE), leading the operational team during the company’s early growth and completion of its 2006 IPO. Prior to U.S. BioEnergy, Thome was director of financial investments at Fagen, Inc., a leading builder of ethanol plants. Mr. Thome started his career in the biofuels industry at First National Bank of Omaha. Mr. Thome holds a B.S. in business administration and an executive M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Thomas P. Griffin, Ph.D. – Vice President, Technology
Dr. Griffin has been actively involved as a technology development and deployment leader in a wide range of alternative energy sectors for more than 20 years. After completing doctoral research in reaction engineering facets of coal pyrolysis and gasification, he was engaged in coal gasification development efforts with Shell. At Molten Metal Technology he led experimental efforts toward successful commercialization of advanced hazardous waste conversion applications. At DuPont he led front-edge team efforts identifying and developing new directions in photovoltaics and biofuels. Most recently, he co-founded Pennsylvania Sustainable Technologies, integrating biological and chemical reaction engineering elements in advanced biofuels process configurations. Dr. Griffin holds BS, MS and PhD degrees in chemical engineering from MIT, and served as an officer in the US Navy in shipboard nuclear operations.

Steve Rust- VP Sales and Marketing
Mr. Rust has for his 30 years in business committed to providing the value to his customers by dealing with integrity and with their best interests at heart. He was most recently the Director of Marketing at Fremont Industries where he worked closely with the sales team to increase Fremont’s market share in providing water treatment to the ethanol industry and rolling out of Fremont’s new corn oil recovery product. Prior to that he was in a business development role at ICM Inc. that focused on showing the value that ethanol brings to America. Those roles consisted of bringing to market finished feeds using distiller’s grains, executive on loan to the formation and growth of the Ethanol Promotion Information Council (EPIC), managing the Team Ethanol Indy Car sponsorship, and implementing the first blender pump in the state of Kansas. Through all of the ventures Mr. Rust has shown a consistent commitment to excellence by doing what is best for his customer and a dedication to deliver on his word. Mr. Rust received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Wichita State University.

Peter H. Kilner - Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Kilner is a business development executive with over 25 years experience helping start-up companies accelerate the development and commercialization of new technology. After an initial position as an R&D scientist at Amoco, he managed business development and business units in the areas of energy, chemical and environmental technology for Catalytica, and was VP Bus Dev for Arbor Vita, a biotechnology company. Mr. Kilner holds an M.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Yale University.

Scott A Janssen - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Janssen is a veteran of high technology and cleantech finance. He most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of AE Biofuels, Inc. (OTC: AEBF). Prior to that, Mr. Janssen was a financial consultant with Level Path Consulting and Kranz & Associates in Silicon Valley, California where he acted as Interim Chief Financial Officer or financial advisor to several high tech companies, including three that completed IPOs. Mr. Janssen also served as a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, a global public accounting firm in San Jose, California. And, Mr. Janssen was Controller and acting Chief Financial Officer with Barcelona Design Software, an enterprise software company in Newark, California. Mr. Janssen received a Bachelors’ of Science in Mathematics/Applied Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Richard Root Woods – VP Commercial Development
Mr. Woods brings more than 30 years of alternative energy experience to EdeniQ. He most recently served as the CEO of Primafuel, a firm producing novel technologies to improve the economic and environmental sustainability of biofuels plants by converting existing facilities into high-efficiency, multi-product, multi-feedstock bio-refineries. Before Primafuel, Mr. Woods helped start Element One Enterprises, where he managed an international IP portfolio of 22 technology platforms and helped develop one of the world's leading hydrogen generation technologies. Mr. Woods also served as CTO for Hydrogen Burner Technology (HbT), where he led all research and development, including the development of a fuel processing product line for fuel cell systems. Mr. Woods holds a BS in Macromolecular Science and Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
